At The Graces, we decided to take a stand against brands that focus on profit at the expense of fair factories and the environment. From farm to factory to distribution, we use the most efficient, eco-friendly, and socially responsible practices available to us. And where we can’t, we’re actively pushing for improvement.
Organic, From Crop to Finish
In addition to being one of the most widely grown crops in the world, cotton is also one of the most chemical-intensive crops to farm.
Cotton covers 2.5 % of the world’s cultivated land yet uses 16% of the world’s insecticides, more than any other crop.
These chemicals have an impact on the earth’s air, water, soil and health of people in cotton-growing areas. Use of these chemicals pollutes the air and water in farming communities, shifts the equilibrium of natural ecosystems, and may leave residual chemicals.
All of our towels are certified organic by the Global Organic Textile Standard.
Set in the desert of southwestern Turkey, this family-owned mill has crafted luxury linens for renowned brands for over thirty years. Since they opened their doors, the owners have made employee happiness a top priority.
From the (rare) air-conditioned factory floor to daily employee meals, it's no wonder many skilled craftspeople have worked here since they opened for business.
